Gardening Girl May 29, 2008

Lydia is walking right in her mother’s footsteps, loving to spend time in the garden.
And like her sister, she likes to make a fashion statement while doing it.
She’s a hard worker- she’ll sit for an hour piling dirt in her lap and packing it down. Seeing as how this outfit will never actually be clean again, this will probably continue to be her down-and-dirty gardening ensemble.

Gorgeous girl!
I can’t believe how long her hair has gotten. Looks like all of the children will have their mother’s green thumb the way they practice.
I love all the pictures. Makes me miss them so much.
I, too, have some clothes which should be classified as my down-and-dirty gardening ensembles. Be sure to bring Lydia’s the next time she comes down here and we can get dirty together! That would be so much fun.

The dress is adorable. So is your girlie. My third daughter could sit in dirt and play for hours too.
What a sweetheart. Who would not want to work in the garden with her?
