Happy Birthday, Rachel! December 8, 2007
Posted by Joe in Family.trackback
A few weeks ago, our little girl got another year older! Rachel is now 6! (She’s disobeying her mother who told her that she had to stop at 5.)
It took a lot of puffs to blow all those candles out!
“Behold, children are a gift of the Lord,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.”
~Psalm 127:3
Wow, I had some catching up to do. I was surprised to find 3 new posts!
Happy Birthday, Rachel. I seem to recall pictures of her birthday last year. Have I been reading that long? I understand Laura’s wish to keep them young. My girls are growing up before my very eyes but I’ll always see my babies.
The campout looks like a lot of fun. I always wished Girl Scout could do Boy-Scout-like stuff. Alas, it was all macrame and tie-die.
Nice cows too, by the way.
Hope you all are well and enjoying the Christmas season.
You know, I agree with you about the Girl Scout stuff. I’d like to see a little more substance. Our group does camp out once you get to a certain age, but we haven’t reached it yet. I’m underwhelmed with the program so far, compared to the great structure and achievement opportunities of Boy Scouts. I hope it improves as Rachel gets older.
